Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow......

Of course, when you drive a Mini, it can be a bit daunting.......
DH had dug out the end of the driveway enough for him to get out, and left a path thru the snow -- tantalizing, but too deep for poor Myrtle Mini!

but what's that - he doesn't fly, he doesn't leap tall buildings, he drives a snow blower!

Closer and closer he gets --

by this time I've cleaned off the car and I'm ready to run.....but I have to wait while he gets even closer!

It is beautiful though, isn't it?

Happy Knitting, keep safe and warm!

  2. Our driveway looks the same only we have no front nose plow shoveling it! DH does the honors with his snowblower. I love minni-coopers!

  3. It's so beuatiful, you are lucky to have so much snow, here we don't have any ...

  4. No snow here, but I could send you my Hybrid Higlander in exchange for Myrtle!

  5. There are some cars on the side streets that are completely covered in snow! And we have more to come this weekend...

But, I agree, it is lovely, as long as you don't have to walk through the drifts!

  6. Nothing is more frustrating than shovelling and then the plow blocks your driveway.

    Arrrrrgh!

  8. We had snow too! What timing! Glad you got out OK. Very cute car, but not much clearance...

  9. Thanks for the beautiful snow scenes. We have just as much snow, but in the city the effect simply isn't the same.
Love your Mini! That's my favourite kind of car. In another life without 4 children and a large dog, I would have a Mini, but, alas, for now I have to drive a Mini-van.

  10. Wow! That's serious snow! Glad you have a hero! Can you see over those drifts in Myrtle? Got GPS?! Here I think 3 inches is a lot! LOL! :)

  11. Good heavens those are lovely pictures of the homestead with all the snow. It is pretty.

I am a serious weenie when it comes to snow. I can't even get down my driveway with 1 inch of snow. Scares me to death.

Of course, the Pacific Northwest coast isn't snow country- and of course, none of us know how to drive in snow. Fender benders all over the place on the rare times it snows here. The last 2 years we have had a tiny bit (and I stayed home from work too).

Keep posting the pictures so I can enjoy the snow from a distance ;)
